Ruth Ann (Musser) Ednie, age 77, wife of Walter J. Ednie, of Royersford, PA died early Thursday morning, November 13, 2014 in her home. Born in Mahanoy City, PA, she was a daughter of the late Walter and Louise (Hartstein) Musser. Mrs. Ednie was a 1955 graduate of the Mahanoy City High School. She was a very active student participating in the dramatics club, chordaires club, band, chorus group, operatta club and the gym exhibition club. She was a member of the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Royersford for many years. She sang in the choir and also assisted the girl scout troop at the Church. Mrs. Ednie enjoyed bowling and bowled in several leagues at the Limerick Bowling Alley.

In addition to her husband of 50 years, Mrs. Ednie is survived by two children: Richard W. Ednie, of Scotts Valley, CA; Catherine A., wife of Patrick S. Kelly, of Pottstown, PA; two grandchildren: Declan P. Kelly, and Aidan R. Kelly. Mrs. Ednie was pre-deceased by one brother: Walter, husband of Lois Musser.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral Mass at the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Lewis Road at Walnut Street, Royersford, PA 19468 on Wednesday morning, November 19, 2014 at 10:00 AM. Officiating will be the Rev. Peter J. DiMaria. Burial will be in the St. Ann's Cemetery, Phoenixville, PA. Friends will be received from 8:30 - 9:30 AM Wednesday morning at the Cattermole-Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford, PA.
