Ruth E. (Stauffer) Copenhafer, age88, wife of the late Robert C. Copenhafer Sr., of Sanatoga, PA passed away on Wednesday evening, November 20, 2013 in her home. Born in Boyertown, she was a daughter of the late Lester and Florence (Saylor) Stauffer.

Mrs. Copenhafer was a lifelong active member of the Grace Lutheran Church in Royersford. She had a servants heart, delivering food for Meals on Wheels and always helping her friends get around. Mrs. Copenhafer loved going to her children's and grandchildren's sportings events, and enjoyed watching football and baseball with her family. Spending time with her family was one of the most important parts of her life, as she always looked forward to family activities and functions.

Mrs. Copenhafer is survived by four children, Patricia, wife of Thomas Taubler of California, Donna Copenhafer of Limerick, Robert C. Jr., husband of Gayla Copenhafer of Colorado, and Karl, husband of Nancy Copenhafer of Boyertown; one sister, Starr, wife of the late Ted Wise of Colorado; five grandchildren, Lori, David, Tracee, Jordan, and Kelsey; seven great grandsons, Griffin, Gavin, Jackson, Mason, Dylan, Drake, and Dane; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one brother, Kenneth Stauffer.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service at the Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, Main Street at Sixth Avenue, Royersford, PA on Monday, November 25, 2013 at 11:00 AM. Officiating will be the Rev. Paul H. Neff and Rev. Janelle L. Krais. Burial will follow in the Limerick Garden of Memories. Friends will be received in the Church Monday morning from 9:30-11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Grace Lutheran Church, 594 Church Street, 1st Floor, Royersford, PA 19468.
