Ruth (Adams) Goshow, 89, widow of Charles L. Goshow, Sr. died Thursday at Frederick Living where she has been a resident since November. Born on March 28, 1928 in Royersford, she was a daughter of the late William H. and Kathryn (Hallman) Adams.

She graduated in 1946 from the Royersford High School. Her working life took her from Gruber's Knitting Mills, to telephone operator at Bell Telephone of Pennsylvania, caregiver at Pennhurst State School, and eventually to Western Electric in King of Prussia. She was a member of the Royersford Bible Fellowship Church where she was a long time choir member and worked in the nursery where she watched over children so that their parents could attend church services.

She was a member of two card clubs each meeting monthly for over fifty years.

Ruth was a devoted grandmother to her grandson, and three granddaughters.

She leaves behind two sons, Charles L. Goshow, Jr. (Jacob) of Las Vegas, NV; Craig Goshow (Dee) of Dillon, SC; and one daughter, Cindy, wife of Ross Snook of Sanatoga; and four grandchildren: Craig, Rhiannon, Eilis, and Niamh. She will be sadly missed by her niece, Betty Murray.

She was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral ceremony at Royersford Bible Fellowship Church, 431 North Lewis Road, Royersford, Pennsylvania on Saturday, April 15, 2017 at 11:00 AM. Officiating will be the Rev. Ronald Erb. Burial will be held in the Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery, Spring City, Pennsylvania. Friends will be received from 6:30 - 8:00 PM Friday at the Cattermole-Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford and from 10:15 - 10:45 AM Saturday at the Church.
