Ruth Ella Melchiorre, age 80, of Phoenixville, passed away on Saturday evening at her residence.? She was the wife of the late Joseph D. Melchiorre, who passed away in August of 2006. Her first husband, Edward Bailey died in July of 1977.? Born in Norristown, she was a daughter of the late Harvey and Bessie (Wagner) Kulp.?
Ruth was a member of St. Andrew Lutheran Church, Audubon, PA and the Trooper Senior Citizens.? She also enjoyed needlework. ? She is survived by a daughter, Pamela Talarico and her husband Charles, of Phoenixville and son, Robert Bailey and his wife Barbara, of Eagleville, brothers, Herbert Kulp, of Limerick and Robert Kulp, of Gilbertsville.? There are also five grandchildren, Erin, Alyssa, Matthew, Janine and Krista as well as four great-grandchildren, Gabriel, Jenna, Megan and Delaney.?
She was also preceded in death by a step-son, William Bailey.?Her funeral service will be held at St. Andrew's Lutheran Church, 2725 Egypt Road, Audubon, PA 19403 on Friday at 10:00 AM.? Officiating will be the Rev. Thomas T. Kochenderfer.? Calling time will be from 9:00 till 10:00 AM at the church.? Burial will be in Schwenksville Cemetery.?
