Ruth E. (Law) Moyer, 83, of East Coventry, passed away on Tuesday, October 14, 2014, in the Phoenixville Hospital. She was the wife of Wayne L. Moyer. Born in Pottstown, she was a daughter of the late Edna (Carl) and Earl Law.

Mrs. Moyer was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church. She had been employed in kitchen service for many years at the Owen J. Roberts Middle School. She loved spending time with her family especially the treasured times she spent with her six grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, Ruth is survived by her children, Karen, wife of Bruce Lawler, of Pottstown and Bryan, husband of Brenda Moyer, of Pottstown; six grandchildren, Andrew and Katelyn Lawler Mary-Susan and Cody Moyer, and Adam and Jesse Hanth; sisters, Mildred Cook, LaRue Guest, Elsie Wiand, Evelyn Porter and Kathryn Tholan; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by siblings, Harold Law, Morris Law, Emma Porter and Marian Shantz.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service at Bethel United Methodist Church, 952 Bethel Church Road, Spring City, PA 19475, on Saturday, October 18, 2014, at 11:00 am. Officiating will be the Rev. Jacqueline A. Hines. Interment will follow in the Church cemetery. Friends will be received from 10:00-10:45 am. Memorial contributions may be made in Ruth’s name to the Bethel United Methodist Church. Arrangements are being handled by the Cattermole-Klotzbach Funeral Home.
