Ruth M. (Leyrer) Seeders, age 82, wife of the late Norman Seeders, of Pottstown, PA, died Saturday, April 22, 2017 in the Pottstown Memorial Medical Center. Born on March 3, 1935 in Pottstown, PA, she was a daughter of the late Lewis and Elizabeth (Nesley) Leyrer.

Mrs. Seeders was a graduate of the St. Joseph Hospital School of Nursing, class of 1964 in Reading, PA. She worked as an LPN for Pottstown Hospital. Mrs. Seeders had a strong faith, and was a member of Pughtown Baptist Church for most of her life. She also enjoyed visiting other area churches, volunteering at luncheons and anywhere help was needed. Along with her husband, she enjoyed boating and fishing.

Mrs. Seeders is survived by her daughter-in-law, Patricia E., wife of the late Lewis N. Seeders of Pottstown, PA; two granddaughters, Tricia E., wife of Michael DeFrancisco of Exeter, PA and Brandee L., wife of Stephen Weiss of Boyertown, PA; four great-grandchildren, Tyler, Sarah, Daniel, and Joshua; and one step-son, Charles Robert Seeders of Lewes, DE. Mrs. Seeders was preceded in death by one brother, Charles Leyrer; and her companion Harry Styer.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral ceremony at the Pughtown Baptist Church, 780 Pughtown Road, Spring City, Pennsylvania on Friday, April 28, 2017 at 11:00 am. Officiating will be Rev. Samuel L. Geiger. Burial will be held in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Saint Peters, PA. Friends will be received from 9:00 am - 11:00 am Friday at the church.
