Obituary

Ruth (Twaddell) Yeager, 98, widow of the late John F. Yeager, of East Pikeland, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 8, 2010, at home. Born in Chester County, she was a daughter of the late Thomas F. and Jenny (Moore) Twaddell.

Mrs. Yeager worked as a hostess at her brothers' Twaddell Diner for many years. She was a member of East Vincent United Church of Christ and dearly loved caring for her family.

Mrs. Yeager is survived by her son, John W. husband of ZoAnne Yeager, her daughter, Jane Y. wife of John Newcomer, son-in-law David DePaoli, sisters-in-law Charlotte and Mary Twaddell, ten grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren, and five great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Ruth Thomas DePaoli, sisters, Sara Veit, Frances Slobodzian, Louise Pechin, and Trudy Dixon, and brothers Hiram, Hibberd, and Thomas Twaddell.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her memorial service at the East Vincent United Church of Christ, 282 Hill Church Road, Spring City, PA 19475, on Friday, August 13, 2010, at 11:00 a.m. Officiating will be the Rev. Katherine E. Davidheiser. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery. Friends will be received from 10:30-11:00 a.m. at the Church. Memorial gifts may be made in Ruth's name to the East Vincent United Church of Christ. Arrangements are being handled by the Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc.
