Ryan Michael Dempsey, age 49, husband of Michele L. (Simes) Dempsey of Royersford, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 30, 2024, in the Reading Hospital. Born on July 4, 1975, in Wynnewood, Pennsylvania, he was a son of the late Linda (Smith) Parker and late Leroy Dennis Dempsey.

A 1994 graduate of Conestoga High School, Ryan attended Delaware County Community College before joining the corporate world. Ryan had been employed in management in both the mortgage industry and the healthcare industry during his career.

As an avid sports fan, Ryan followed many sports teams, not necessarily just Philadelphia teams. Ryan was an avid collector of hundreds and hundreds of ballcaps from all over the world, including sports teams, sporting events, and places. Family and friends could NOT visit a country or event without bringing him his hat.

Ryan and Michele traveled extensively whether for the kids sports or vacations. From Ireland to the California desert to Alaska to the Caribbean Islands; Ryan put aside his dislike of flying to see new sights and experience different cultures.

Ryan enjoyed time spent with his friends and family, whether having a beer or just hanging out. Ryan loved helping others, joking, and making people laugh. Most importantly, he loved attending the kids' sports events and was also involved with their academic careers and endeavors.

In addition to his wife, Ryan is survived by stepson: Nicolas Eickhoff; stepdaughter: Erika Eickhoff; brother and sister-in-law: Sean Patrick and Tammy Dempsey; nephew: Cole Dempsey; and niece: Emma Dempsey.

Funeral services will be held privately for the immediate family.
