Samuel R. Lord, 75, of Phoenixville, PA died on Thursday, June 30, 2011 at The University of Pennsylvania Hospital after a recent illness. He was the husband of Kathleen A. (Smith) Lord.

Mr. Lord was born in Philadelphia to the late Roland C. and Sarah (Stamp) Lord. He served honorably in the US Airforce and was employed for many years at Venezia Trucking. He and Kathleen also attended Faith Bible Fellowship Church of Spring City.

He is survived by his children: Cecelia"Cindy" Lord, Kathy Lord, Phillip Lord and Roland "Ronnie" Lord; sister, Helen Lord and three grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Elizabeth Kelton.


His memorial service will be held on Tuesday evening, July 5, 2011 at 7 PM at Cattermole-Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington St., Royersford, PA. Officiating will be Rev. Kevin W. Clineff.
