Sandra M. "Sandy" Cowan, 65, of East Vincent died on Thursday, March 17th, 2011 at Phoenixville Hospital. She was the wife of Harry R. "Spike" Cowan.

Sandy was born in Phoenixville, a daughter of the late Cyrus J. and Hazel (Unruh) Miller. She graduated from Norristown Schools and was employed for over thirty years as a legal secretary at the Norristown law firm of High, Swartz, Roberts and Seidel.

In her freetime, she and Spike bowled for many years in the leagues at Phoenix Lanes.

In addition to her husband of forty years she is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Echikson and grandson, Lucas Harry Echikson, both of Spring City; sisters: Beatrice Wambold, of Birdsboro and Lynne Himes, wife of Terry, of Boyertown; brothers: Jim Miller and wife Pearl, of Gilbertsville; Danny Miller and wife Ruthann, of Mont Clare and Tom Miller and wife Nadeen, of Gilbertsville; cousin, Bonnie, wife of Greg, Kemery, of Douglassville; and many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by four brothers and sisters.

Her funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 22, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc., Main Street at Fifth Avenue, Phoenixville, PA 19460. Officiating will be Rev.
