Sara Jane (Freas) Baird, 90, wife of the late James W. Baird, of Gilbertsville, formerly Audubon, passed away on Monday, September 5, 2016 in Pottstown Memorial Medical Center. Born on November 12, 1925 in Conshohocken, she was a daughter of the late Leroy E. and Ida Mae (Dutill) Freas.

A homemaker, Mrs. Baird tended to the needs of her family. She loved to garden, even lugging trees around into her 80's.

Mrs. Baird is survived by her children: James L. Baird and wife Debra, of Bradenton, FL; Beverly Jane Cabot and husband Dennis; Bethanne Baird and husband John J., and Rebecca Heimbach and husband Jeremy, all of Gilbertsville; fraternal twin sister: Florence (Freas) Krill, of Royersford; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by granddaughter: Kristin Johnson, and brothers: George, Elwood and Kenneth Freas.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her memorial service at the Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc, Main Street at Fifth Avenue, Phoenixville on Monday, September 26, 2016 at 11:00 AM. Officiating will be the Rev. Gil Vining. Friends will be received from 10:00 am - 11:00 am at the funeral home. Inurnment will follow in the George Washington Memorial Park, Plymouth Meeting.
