Obituary

Sara S. (Hobbs) Gormley, age 80, wife of the late Philip F. Gormley, of Limerick, PA, formerly of the Mayfair section of Philadelphia, died Wednesday evening, March 9, 2011 in the Phoenixville Hospital, Phoenixville, PA surrounded by her family and friends. She was a graduate of Frankford High School. Mrs. Gormley worked for over 26 years in the accounting department of Johnson Controls Company in Northeast Philadelphia. She was a former member of Our Lady of Ransom Roman Catholic Church in Philadelphia. Currently she was a member of St. Eleanor's RC Church in Collegeville.

Mrs. Gormley is survived by; two daughters; Carol A. Cappelli, of Dublin, Theresa A., wife of "Sparky" Healy, of Collegeville, four grandchildren; LTJG Richard H. (Shaina) Amos, Jr., Philip A. Cappelli, Haley-Theresa Cappelli, and Aidan F. Healy, one great-grandson; Rocco J. Amos.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at the St. Eleanor Roman Catholic Church, 647 Locust Street, Collegeville, PA 19426 on Monday morning, March 14th, 2011 at 10:30AM. Friends will be received from 9:00-10:15 AM, Monday morning at the Church. Burial will be held at the Arlington National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made in her name to the St. Eleanor's capital campaign at the above address. The Cattermole-Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford, PA is in charge of the arrangements.
