Sara Jane "Sally" Shaner, wife of H. Lee Shaner, of Pottstown, PA, died Tuesday, October 6, 2015 in Seasons Hospice at Phoenixville Hospital. Born on June 4, 1945 in Reading, Pennsylvania, she was a daughter of Alvia and Laura (Isenberg) White. She was a graduate of Owen J. Roberts High School in 1963. Mrs. Shaner worked as a special education teacher in several schools in the area for decades. Mrs. Shaner was a former member of the Parker Ford Baptist Church and a current member of the New Covenant Baptist Church in Pottstown, PA.

Mrs. Shaner is survived by Two Daughters, Heather L. Kent of Basalt, CO, Derene E. (Michael) Scheeler of Pottstown, PA; Son, Andrew W. (Jennifer) Shaner of Birdsboro, PA; Two Sisters, Gloria A. (Neal) Petenbrink of Boyertown, PA, Linda L. (Craig) Coble of Elizabethtown, PA; Five Grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
