Sarah G. (Rittenbaugh) Etzler, 76, of Phoenixville, passed away peacefully at home under hospice care, on Saturday, December 10, 2022. Born on April 2, 1946 in Phoenixville, she was a daughter of the late Mildred A. (Day) and William B. Rittenbaugh Sr.

Sarah was co-owner of J & S Deli, a butcher shop on Bridge Street in Phoenixville, prior to independently opening the Eagle's Nest, in Mont Clare, in 1993. A hard worker, she continued in the food service industry in her retirement, working at Wawa from 4 am until 11 am, even bringing over some of her former customers.

Sarah loved going to Bingo and playing the slot machines at the casinos. She was a great mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, who was always willing to lend a hand and served as a great mentor to her family. She enjoyed making sure her family was always taken care of. Although Sarah was very witty and hardheaded, she loved everyone unconditionally.

Sarah is survived by her daughter: Linda Fedchak, companion of Joe Blair, of Phoenixville; significant other: John Tomaski, of Phoenixville; grandchildren: Nicholas Fedchak, Catherine Blair, Christopher Herrmann and Amanda Blair; and great-grandchildren: Andrew Fedchak, Kellan Johnson, Michael Fedchak, Avayah Corsey and Kaitlyn Fedchak. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings: Elsie Johnson, Samuel Rittenbaugh, William "Eagle" Rittenbaugh and Clarence "Shorty" Rittenbaugh.

Funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Sarah's name to the Phoenixville Area Community Services, 101 Buchanan Street, Phoenixville, PA 19460, www.pacsphx.org.
