Scott M. O'Hara, age 42, husband of Alissa J. (Haldeman) O'Hara, of Collegeville, PA, passed away on Wednesday, October 19, 2016 in Einstein Medical Center Montgomery. Born on December 27, 1973 in Norristown, Pennsylvania, he was a son of Karen (Rhoads) O'Hara of West Chester, PA and the late Edward O'Hara.

Scott was a 1991 graduate of Upper Merion High School and a 1996 graduate of Penn State University. He previously worked for corporate Ikea, and was currently employed by Colonial Electric Supply in King of Prussia. Scott was an active member of Christ's Church in the Valley, where he volunteered his time with the middle school aged children. He also was an active volunteer with his son's boy scout troop. Scott enjoyed and was happiest when he was around other people. He was the comedian and entertainer of the group, and was a wealth of random facts. Recently, Scott started to play and enjoy the game of golf.

In addition to his wife and mother, Scott is survived by three children, Braedon, Natalie, and Kaylee O'Hara; two sisters, Jennifer, wife of Brent Lauchle of Larkspur, CA and Kelly, wife of Jeff Friel of Exton, PA; maternal grandmother, Violet (Rodenbaugh) Rhoads; numerous Aunts and Uncles, many nieces, nephews, and cousins; and countless friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service at Christ's Church of the Valley, 1560 Yeager Road, Royersford, PA 19468 on Monday, October 24, 2016 at 11:45 am. Officiating will be Pastor Matt Silver. Burial will be held privately. Friends will be received from 9:30 am - 11:30 am Monday at the Church.
