Sharon N. Wagner, age 90, wife of the late William H. Wagner Jr., of Phoenixville, PA, passed away on Saturday, July 12, 2025 at home. Born on January 8, 1935 in Toledo, OH, she was a daughter of the late George H. and Virginia M. (Evans) O'Donnell.

Sharon was a 1953 graduate of Libby High School in Toledo, OH. She went on to receive her bachelor's degree in education from Denison University in 1957. Sharon initially worked in education for several years, mainly in California where her husband was stationed in the Marine Corps. Once she started her family, however, her focus shifted to caring for her children and home. She was a proud and devoted Mother, spending many hours leading Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts and PTAs. As the kids grew, Sharon began a career at Professional Nursing Services as their Bookkeeper.

Sharon was a faithful member of the First Presbyterian Church in Phoenixville, serving in a wide variety of committees. She was also involved with several book clubs, bridge groups, Questers and travels. As a life-long avid gardener, she spent many hours in the yard tending to her flowers and herbs when she was home. Some of her favorite time, however, was spent wintering in Naples with her late husband, Bill as they enjoyed the sunshine together.

She is survived by one daughter, Kelly N. Wright, wife of the late Michael of Norfolk, VA; one brother, Terry O'Donnell, husband of Judy of Orlando, FL; one sister-in-law, Carolyn MacIntosh of Western Springs, IL; and several special nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one son, William H. Wagner, III.


A Memorial Service will be held in the First Presbyterian Church, 145 Main Street, Phoenixville on Saturday, October 4th at 11:00.
