Shelagh M. Born, age 55, of Phoenixville, PA, passed away on Thursday, May 18, 2017 in Seasons Hospice at Phoenixville Hospital.

Born on August 16, 1961 in Philadelphia, PA, she was a daughter of Leo and Julia (McKee) Kennedy. She was a graduate of Nazareth Academy and West Chester University.

Her life was devoted to her children and her beloved family dog Bella. She always put them first. Shelagh had a challenging journey with her health the last decade. She was a strong warrior and was her best advocate in researching her care. She left this life with God's grace.

Shelagh is survived by a Son, Christopher K. Born of Los Angeles, CA; Daughter, Jillian M. Born of Phoenixville, PA; Two Sisters, Susan (Michael) Graveley of Philadelphia, PA, Mary Ellen Kennedy of Ft. Meyers, FL; Brother, Edward (Carol) Kennedy of Philadelphia, PA. She was predeceased by a Brother, Michael Kennedy, husband of Patricia, of Philadelphia.
