Obituary

Shirley Louise (Brower) Grohosky, 65, wife of Richard Grohosky, passed away on Wednesday, August 31, 2011, after a lengthy illness. Born in Norristown, she was a daughter of the late Harry C. and Marion E. (Kulp) Brower.

Shirley lived in Spring City for over 30 years. She loved to play bingo and cards. She loved the shore and the casino and was a diehard Phillies fan. She also loved her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and was expecting another great grandchild.

In addition to her loving husband of 41 years, Shirley is survived by two daughters: Kimberly Klick and Ginger wife of Wheeler Aman, both of Royersford; two sisters: Marion Rietheimer of Port Providence and Harriet wife of Francis Blake of Conshohocken; brother: Robin Kulp of Oaks; seven grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and former son-in-law Robert Klick. She was preceded in death by three sisters: Etta Shelley, Judith Evans, and Susan Shreves; and one nephew: Anthony Hansen.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service at the Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc., Main Street at Fifth Avenue, Phoenixville, on Tuesday, September 6, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. Friends will be received from 10:00-11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the Shirley Grohosky Memorial Fund, c/o National Penn Bank, 702 S.
