Obituary

Shirley A. Reese, age 79, of Stowe, PA, passed away on Sunday, October 29, 2017 in the Seasons Hospice, Phoenixville, PA. Born on October 2, 1938 in York, Pennsylvania, she was a daughter of the late Eugene and Olive (Boyd) Kemper.

Shirley co-owned and operated Reese's Market in Stowe for many years. She was a member and Past President of the Elks' Doe Club in Pottstown, a member of the Lioness Club in Stowe, and a member of St. Gabe's Lodge in Stowe. She enjoyed ceramics, gardening, and loved cooking and baking for family and friends. Shirley was a proud mother, mother-in-law, sister, aunt, and Nanny; her most valued possession was her family. She looked forward to hosting the annual family reunion every summer and spent months planning and days cooking for this day spent with her beloved family.

Shirley is survived by five children, Scott E., husband of Angela Morris of York, PA, John J. Reese of Navarre, FL, Christine M., wife of Mark Evans of Earlysville, VA, Karen L., wife of Alan Boas of Douglassville, PA, and Wendy S., wife of the late Darren Lenhart of Pottstown, PA; daughter in-law Vicki Morris; one brother, Thomas H., husband of Ruth Kemper of North Wales, PA; ten grandchildren, Shaun Morris, Jessica Gano, Justin Morris, Tyler Morris, Cole Lenhart, Olivia Bryant, Zachary Evans, Maggie Evans Duncan, T.J. Sandusky, and Melissa Wickliffe; four great-grandchildren, Robbie, Emma, Ethan, and Jamie; several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by two sons, Robert E. Morris and Brad L. Reese, and her companion, Richard "Sticker" Rhoads.

Family and friends are invited to attend her funeral ceremony at the Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc, 610 South Main Street, Phoenixville, Pennsylvania on Saturday, November 4, 2017 at 11:00 am. Officiating will be Rev. James R. Roth. Burial will be held in the Limerick Garden of Memories, Limerick, Pennsylvania. Family and Friends will be received from 10:00 am - 11:00 am Saturday at the funeral home.
