Shirley A. Sanders-Benton, age 64, of Schwenksville, PA, passed away on Thursday, May 6, 2021 at home. Born on September 10, 1956 in Phoenixville, PA, she was the daughter of Harold D. and Luise (Guenther) Sanders, of Phoenixville.

Shirley was a graduate of Phoenixville High School. She worked as a warehouse supervisor at Wyeth for 20 years, and for the past 10 years worked as the office manager at Advanced Office Environments in Malvern. An animal lover at heart, she enjoyed traveling, as well as having good conversation with her neighbors and friends while sitting outside. Most of all, she loved cheering her son on while he played baseball before his passing.

In addition to her parents, Shirley is survived by two brothers, Michael D., husband of Karen Sanders of Schwenksville, PA and Thomas P. Sanders, husband of Jennifer Escarge of Royersford, PA; three nieces, Kristen, wife of Kevin Bates, Julie Sanders, fiancée of Brad Gery, and Julia Depro. Shirley was preceded in death by her son, Jeffrey T. Benton, and Jeff's father, Thomas Benton, III.

Services are pending and will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Montgomery County SPCA, 19 E. Ridge Pike, P.O.
