Shirley B. (Walton) Warren, 75, wife of Bob Warren, of Elverson, passed away on Tuesday, June 14, 2011, in the Phoenixville Hospital. Born in Phoenixville, she was a daughter of the late Leonard and Blair (Gouldthorpe) Walton.
Mrs. Warren was a 1954 graduate of Phoenixville High School and was a member of the Community Evangelical Free Church in Elverson. She was very active in Church for many years with singing and the nursery. She was a former Republican Committeewoman. Shirley's grandchildren were the love of her life.
In addition to her loving husband of 56 years, Mrs. Warren is survived by her daughter: Brenda Warren Mormello of Phoenixville; son: Robert B. husband of Pamela Warren of West Chester; and three grandchildren: Brandon R. Mormello and Andrea and Michelle Warren. The eldest of one sister and five brothers, she was preceded in death by one brother, Russell Walton.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 18, 2011, at 2:00 p.m. at the Community Evangelical Free Church, 52 South Brick Road, Elverson, PA, with Pastor Steve Estes officiating. Friends will be received from 1:00-2:00 p.m. and following the service. Memorial gifts may be made in Shirley's name to Regeneration Reservation, P.O. Box 219, Fort Thomas, AZ 85536.
