Shirley Ann (Hughes) Young, age 84, wife of the late Richard W. Young, of Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, passed away on Saturday, February 12, 2022 in her residence. Born on February 21, 1937 in Lancaster, she was the only child of the late Mary M. and William Hughes.

Shirley is survived by her children: Denise A., wife of John Ackroyd, of Phoenixville, Catherine L. Young, of Millsboro, DE, Jeffrey S., husband of Barbara Pyott, of Lancaster and Donna Pyott, of Lancaster; and grandchildren: Justin and Makinzie Ackroyd.

Relatives and friends will be received on Saturday, February 19, 2022 at from 9:30 - 10:30 am at the Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc, Main Street at Fifth Avenue, Phoenixville. A graveside service will follow in Philadelphia Memorial Park, 124 Phoenixville Pike, Frazer. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Shirley's name to Centennial Evangelical Lutheran Church, P.O. Box 840, Kimberton, PA 19442.
