Silas W. "Si" Thompson, II, age 86, husband of Marianne H. (Hespe) Thompson, of Charlestown Township, died early Wednesday morning, May 30, 2012 in the Phoenixville Hospital, Phoenixville, PA. Born in Cleveland, Ohio, he was a son of the late Jean M. (Eppley) Thompson. A veteran, he served for the U.S. Army in World War II.

In addition to his wife of 56 years, Mr. Thompson is survived by four children: Silas W. "Si" Thompson, III, husband of Linda Thompson; Stephen Thompson; Stuart, husband of Mary Thompson; Scott, husband of Donna Thompson; and ten grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Service at the Campbell - Ennis - Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc., Main Street at Fifth Avenue, Phoenixville, PA on Monday, June 4th, 2012 at 11:00 AM. Burial will be in the Philadelphia Memorial Park, Frazer, PA. Friends will be received from 10:00 - 11:00 AM Monday morning at the funeral home.
