Silas W. "Si" Thompson III, age 58, husband of Linda M. (Patrick) Thompson, of Phoenixville, passed away on Monday, April 20, 2015 in the Seasons Hospice, Phoenixville. Born in Lancaster, PA, he was a son of the late Silas W. II and Marianne (Hespe) Thompson.

Mr. Thompson attended St. Ann Catholic Church in Phoenixville. He worked as a truck driver for Venezia in Limerick and Papco in New Jersey. He loved cars.

Mr. Thompson is survived by three children, Samantha A. Thompson, Nicole M. Thompson, and Steven M. Thompson, all of Phoenixville; one step-son, Anthony J. Gallo of Phoenixville; three brothers, Stephen Thompson, Stuart, husband of Mary Thompson, and Scott, husband of Donna Thompson; and nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited at attend his funeral mass in the St. Ann Church, Main Street at Third Avenue, Phoenixville, PA 19460 on Thursday, April 23, 2015 at 11:00 AM. Officiating will be the Rev. John J. Newns. Burial will take place privately. Friends will be received at the church from 9:30-10:45 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Phoenixville Cancer Center, 824 Main Street, Phoenixville, PA or to the Seasons Hospice Foundation, 2200 Renaissance Boulevard, Suite 110, King of Prussia, PA 19406.
