Sonja Lynch, age 81, widow of Gerald F. Lynch Sr., of East Coventry, formerly Boyertown, PA, passed away on Saturday, June 27, 2020 in the Manatawny Manor. Born on June 1, 1939 in Wolfersheim, Germany, she was a daughter of the late Adolf and Hilda (Paul) Walz.

Mrs. Lynch was a homemaker. She was formerly active at the Center at Spring Street, Boyertown, where she assisted at the card parties. She was an avid swimmer at the Boyertown YMCA. She enjoyed playing poker and won numerous tournament trophies.

Mrs. Lynch is survived by two sons, Gerald F. Jr., husband of Sue Lynch of Blandon, PA and Kenneth L., husband of Alethea Lynch of Spring City, PA; one grandson, Benjamin Lynch of Spring City; three step-grandchildren, Amy Fink, Mike Bierbach and Dan Bierbach; five step-great-grandchildren, Ryan Fink, Jacob Fink, Brice Bierbach, Evan Bierbach and Connor Bierbach, and one sister, Ursula Mucher of Germany. Mrs. Lynch was preceded in death by one brother and two sisters.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral ceremony at Faith Bible Fellowship Church, 25 Pennhurst Road, Spring City, PA on Friday, July 3, 2020 at 10:00 am. Officiating will be Pastor Jeff Kauffman. Burial will be held in the Limerick Garden of Memories, Limerick, PA. Friends will be received from 9:00 am - 10:00 am Friday at the church. Due to current regulations, CDC guidelines, social distancing and capacity limitation will be followed. Please be considerate of others and a mask is required for entry into the church.
