Stanley E. Brown, age 79,husband of Ellen M. (Miller) Brown, of Phoenixville, passed away on Sunday, January 19, 2014 in the Season's Hospice, Phoenixville. Born in Bloomsburg, he was a son of the late Harry and Cora (Gower) Brown.

Mr. Brown worked almost 30 years for Synthane Taylor Corporation in Oaks. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying to hunt, fish, and go camping. He was a Philadelphia sports fan, and loved the Phillies and Eagles.

In addition to his wife of 62 years, Mr. Brown is survived by four children, Susan E. Sennott of Phoenixville, Stanley E. Brown, Jr., husband of Deborah of Pottstown, Edward L. Brown, husband of Donna of Phoenixville, and Barry L. Brown, husband of Kimberly of Pottstown; three siblings, Fred Brown, Betty Hartman, and Kenny Brown; twelve grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Bonnie L. Evans, and ten siblings.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service at the Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc., Main Street at Fifth Avenue, Phoenixville on Thursday, January 23,2014 at 11:00 AM. Officiating will be the Rev. Ruth Chartier. Burial will follow in the Philadelphia Memorial Park. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 9:30-11:00 AM.
