Stella V. (Renninger) Astheimer, 96, of Parkhouse Providence Pointe and formerly of Limerick, passed away on Saturday, March 14, 2009 at Phoenixville Hospital. She was the wife of the late Harry P. Astheimer, who died in 1985.

Born in Limerick, she was a daughter of the late Solomon and Estella (Erb) Renninger. Stella was a homemaker. She was also a member of Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, Royersford, PA.

She is survived by two daughters: Joan E. Kelley and husband Joseph, of Gilbertsville, Gladys E. Pouchan, of Royersford; one son: Charles R. Astheimer and wife Cynthia, of Linfield; two brothers: Linwood Renninger and wife Marguerite, of Boyertown and Alton Renninger, of Spring City, ten grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her children: Doris Astheimer, P. Wayne Astheimer and Jane Wimmer, six brothers, five sisters and a great-granddaughter.

Her funeral service will be on Wednesday at 11 AM at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, Main St. at Sixth Avenue, Royersford, PA. Officiating will be Revs. Paul H. Neff and Janelle L. Krais.
