Stephen P. Knapp, 46, of Collegeville, passed away on Monday, September 19, 2016 in LifeCare Hospital, West Chester. Born on June 27, 1970 in Norristown, he was a son of Elmer and Barbara (Leonard) Knapp.


Stephen was a graduate of Perkiomen Valley High School. He was employed by Sodexo, in kitchen utility, at Urisinus College for 20 years. He was a member of Royersford Church of the Nazarene, Best Buddies and Helping Hands. An avid fan, Stephen loved to watch the Phillies and Eagles.


In addition to his parents, Stephen is survived by his brother: Sean R., husband of Leanne Knapp, of Limerick; niece: Abigayle Knapp; and nephew: Connor Knapp.


Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service at the Royersford Church of the Nazarene, 445 Washington Street, Royersford, on Saturday, September 24, 2016 at 10:00 am. Officiating will be Rev. Peter J. Clarke, Rev. Larry D. Powell, Rev. Paul W. Thornhill and Rev. Philip N. Metcalfe. Interment will follow in the Limerick Garden of Memories. Friends will be received from 6:30 - 8:00 PM Friday evening at the Cattermole-Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford and from 9:00 - 9:45 am Saturday morning at the Church.
