Steven Michael Krasnick, age 72, of Pottstown Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on Monday March 9, 2020 in Seasons Hospice surrounded by his loving family. Born on December 9, 1947 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Charlotte Clare Sussman and the late Harold Krasnick.
Steven attended Owen J Roberts High School while living in North Coventry. He moved to Washington State where he had immediate family. He returned to Pottstown in 2019. Steven earned his living driving trucks and eventually became an independent long distance, interstate driver. After leaving long distance truck driving, he started “Lickity Split” road side service until he retired early 2019. Steven was a loving son, brother and dear friend to those who knew him. He will be missed.
Steven is survived by his sisters Lynne Krasnick Moyer, Teresa R Glick, and Paula G Koren. His brothers Neal Krasnick, Gregory Alan Krasnick and Gavin David Jackson. Along with many nieces and nephew.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life Service on Saturday April 25th, 2020 at 10:00AM at Shenkel United Church of Christ, 1580 Shenkel Road, Pottstown PA 19465. Family and friends may call prior to the service from 9:00AM to 10:00AM. Officiating will be the Rev. Suzanne Spaulding.
Burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made the Cancer Center at Pottstown Hospital Tower Health.
