Susan E. (Holmes) Brouse, 59, of Birchrunville, passed away after a courageous battle with breast cancer on July 6, 2013, in Seasons Hospice at Phoenixville. She was the loving wife of Jeffrey E. Brouse. Born in Princeton, NJ, she was a daughter of the late David D. and Martha (Roope) Holmes.

Susan was employed as office manager and conveyancer for RE/MAX Mainline in Paoli. She loved spending time at her family vacation home on the Casco Bay in Brunswick, Maine. She also enjoyed gardening, music and reading, but her family and friends were the pinnacle of her life.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her siblings, Lisa, wife of Fran Murphy, of Waterport, NY and Charlie, husband of Jeri Holmes, of Fredericksburg, MD; mother-in-law, Nancy Brouse, of South Coventry; brother and sister-in-law, Jim and Kim Brouse, of Linfield; nieces and nephews, Erik, Lori, Jessie, Kara, Joshua and Christopher; and an unbelievably wonderful support team of doctors, nurses and friends. In addition to her parents, Susan was preceded in death by a brother, John Holmes and step-mother, Nancy Holmes.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service at the Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc., Main Street at Fifth Avenue, Phoenixville, on Thursday, July 11, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. Officiating will be the Rev. Caleb Harms. Friends will be received from 9:30-11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Susan's name to the Phoenixville Cancer Center, 824 S.
