Susan C. Nachsin, age 77, wife of the late Allan Nachsin, of Spring City, PA., passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, June 16, 2016, surrounded by her loved ones. Born on July 4, 1938 in Pottstown, PA, she was the daughter of the late John C.D. and Jean (Raysor) Corbin.

Mrs. Nachsin was a member of the First U.C.C. in Royersford and a graduate of Spring-Ford High School, class of 1956, which was the first graduating class of the jointure. She then went on to graduate from Penn State University in 1960 with a B.S. degree in education. She taught at Bridgeport High School, coaching both basketball and field hockey, leading the latter to become state champs. She went on to teach special education at M.C.I.U. until retiring in 2008, though she continued to fill in as needed for quite some time after that. Susan was exceptionally crafty and quick witted with a "special" sense of humor and those who knew her will agree, that to say she was hilarious, would be an understatement. She was an extreme Penn State football fan, travelling to and tailgating at many games over the years. It must also be noted that she was an avid groundhog "enthusiast" to say the least, even going as far as visiting Phil in Punxsutawney, Pa. She was devoted to her family and was a truly unique human being who will be missed tremendously.

Mrs. Nachsin is survived by two daughters, Kelly Sue Nachsin of Linfield, PA and Marcia "Marcy" Corbin Nachsin of Spring City, PA; one son, Jonathan Corbin Nachsin of Spring City, PA; and two grandchildren, Megan Pletcher and Joshua Pletcher.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service at Cattermole - Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford, PA on Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at 11:00 am. Burial will be held in the Fernwood Cemetery, Royersford. Friends will be received from 10:00 am - 11:00 am Wednesday at the funeral home.
