Obituary

Susan R. (Brown) Spieth, 78, wife of the late George E. Spieth, of Kimberton, passed away on Thursday, July 23, 2009, in the Atria Woodbridge Place. Born in Phoenixville, she was a daughter of the late Frank P. and Dora (Evans) Brown.

Mrs. Spieth was a 1948 graduate of Phoenixville High School. She was homemaker and a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church. She was a proper woman who always wanted to be grammatically correct. She had a passion for animals and was crafty. She loved her pets and enjoyed reading, knitting, crosswords and jigsaw puzzles.

Mrs. Spieth is survived by two daughters, Kathy S., wife of Richard Bedford, of Pittsburgh and Ruth A., wife of Richard Snyder, of Irvona, 6 grandchildren, Neil and Cassi Belcher, Patrick and Jeri Brown, Rick and Trish Snyder, Chris and Candice Snyder, John and Katie Hartman, and Steven Bedford, 10 great-grandchildren, Sidney, Trevor, Makayla, Tyler, Kaylie, Hunter, Evan, Lexie, Garrett, and Macy, and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service at the Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc., Main Street at Fifth Avenue, Phoenixville, on Tuesday, July 28, 2009 at 11 a.m. Officiating will be the Rev. Dr. Cynthia L. Krommes. Interment will follow in the Philadelphia Memorial Park, Frazer. Friends will be received from 10-11 a.m. at the funeral home.
