Sylvia E. (Gappa) Chrusch, age 65, wife of Joseph "Skip" Chrusch, of Pottstown, Pennsylvania, died Monday, April 25, 2016 in Pottstown Memorial Medical Center.

Born on May 25, 1950 in Shamokin, Pennsylvania, she was a daughter of the late Sylvester and Eleanor (Gotaskie) Gappa. Sylvia worked for many years at Sircom Knitting, Spring City, PA, and Nelson's Ice Cream.

She is survived by a son, Gerald A., husband of Erica Grebe; daughter, Veronica M., wife of Daniel McGonigal; step-daughter, Kimberly, wife of William Heffner; three sisters: Deborah A., wife of Robert Gauger Jr., Lori A., wife of John Prange; Catherine J., wife of Edward Kollar Sr. There are five grandchildren, one great-grandchild and many nieces and nephews. Sylvia was also preceded in death by a son, A. Scott Grebe; sister, Rosemary Klein and brother, Stephen S. Gappa, Sr..

Graveside Services will be at Limerick Garden of Memories, 44 Swamp Pike , Royersford, Pennsylvania on Friday, April 29, 2016 at 10:30 am. Officiating will be Bobbie Hoffman.
