Sylvia J. (Ettinger) Perry, age 75, wife of Douglas J. Perry, of West Norriton, PA, formerly Royersford, PA, passed away on Thursday, May 21, 2026 in the Einstein Medical Center Montgomery, East Norriton, PA. Born on April 23, 1951 in Sunbury, PA, she was a daughter of the late Quentin E. and Dorothy F. (Howell) Ettinger.

Mrs. Perry was a graduate of Spring-Ford High School, class of 1969. She went on to receive her LPN certificate from Hahnemann Hospital, where she would begin her nursing career. She went on to continue working for Chestnut Hill Hospital, Ambler Medical Associates, and finally Spring-Ford Family Practice before her retirement.

As an active and faithful member of Valley Forge Baptist in Collegeville, she enjoyed singing in the choir. She found delight as a homemaker, tending to her home and caring for her family. She enjoyed baking and attending yard sales. Most of all, she cherished the time spent with her family.

In addition to her husband of 51 years, Mrs. Perry is survived by one daughter, Christine, wife of Steve Pink; two grandchildren, Takaila Pink and Nathan Pink; five siblings, Kathleen, wife of the late Walter Taylor, James, husband of MaryAnn Ettinger, Timothy, husband of Pam Ettinger, Kenneth Ettinger, and Brenda, wife of the late Ray Paskel; and ten nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two siblings, Robert Ettinger and Virginia, wife of the late John Hall.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service at Valley Forge Baptist, 616 S. Trappe Road, Collegeville, PA on Friday, May 29, 2026 at 11:00 am, with a time of visitation taking place in the church from 9:00 am - 10:45 am. Officiating will be Rev. Scott E. Wendal. Burial will take place in the Green Lawn Cemetery, at the corner of Sumneytown Pike and Allentown Road, Lansdale, PA, on Friday afternoon at 2:30 pm.
