Ted J. Wanamaker, age 55, husband of Donna M. (Yancik) Wanamaker, of Royersford, PA passed away suddenly on Thursday, January 1, 2015 in the Paoli Hospital. Born in Norristown, PA, he was a son of the late Walter M. and B. Anne (Heffner) Wanamaker.

Ted was a graduate of Spring-Ford High School, and was a member of Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church in Royersford. He could often be seen riding his Harley-Davidson, and was known for decorating his home each holiday. He was active in dog rescue, and enjoyed traveling to Wildwood, NJ.

In addition to his wife, Ted is survived by two sons, Michael S., husband of Wanda Graycar of Phoenixville and David B., husband of Sabrina Graycar of Royersford; one brother, Curt M., husband of Ruth Ann Wanamaker of Oaks; two grandchildren, Mason and Reaghan Graycar; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one sister, Sharon L. Reifsnyder.

Relatives and friends are invited at attend his funeral service at the Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, Main Street at Sixth Avenue, Royersford, PA 19468 on Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at 11:00 AM. Officiating will be Rev. Janelle L. Krais and Dr. Gael B. Hogan, Chaplain. Burial will follow in the Limerick Garden of Memories. Friends will be received at the church from 9:00-10:45 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Montgomery County SPCA, 19 E. Ridge Pike, Box 222, Conshohocken, PA 19428.
