Terry Deputy Sr., age 82, husband of the late Jean Ann Deputy, of South Pottstown, PA, passed away on Friday, April 15, 2016 in the Brandywine Hospital. Born on November 3, 1933, he was a son of the late Chester W. and Alice A. (Eaches) Deputy.
Mr. Deputy was a graduate of the Spring City High School, and served in the United States Army. He operated Terry Deputy Masonry for over 50 years. He enjoyed playing cards, shooting quoits, collecting antique lamps, and was always proud of his grandson, Austin.
Mr. Deputy is survived by two sons, Terry Deputy Jr., husband of Sharon of Fleetwood and Randy Deputy, husband of Elizabeth of Elverson; four siblings, Lewis Deputy, husband of Betty Jane of Virginia Beach, VA, Sara "Sally" Kerrigan of Ivyland, PA, Patsy Himes, wife of Gerald of Birdsboro, and Thomas Deputy, husband of Joy of Abilene, TX; one sister-in-law, Iris Bernhard of Douglassville, PA; one grandson, Austin Deputy, husband of Hannah of Pocopson, PA; and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service at the Cattermole-Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford, PA 19468 on Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at 11:00 AM. Officiating will be the Rev. John C. Kolle. Entombment will follow in the Mt. Zion Cemetery, Pottstown. Friends will be received at the funeral home Tuesday from 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM.
