Obituary

Thelma L. “Chum” Hopple passed away on November 14, 2013, in Pinehurst, North Carolina, at the age of 90. She was the wife of the late Nevin M. Hopple.
Born in Phoenixville, PA, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Gertrude (Hampton) Faddis Cox. She graduated from Ellis School for Girls in Newtown Square, PA. Mrs. Hopple worked for many years as a Medical Records Librarian at Montgomery Hospital in Norristown, PA retiring in the early 1980’s. She then moved to Rhode Island and later to North Carolina to be near her daughter. She was most proud of the time she spent singing in the local church choir at Hawes Avenue Methodist Church and spoke of that during her later years.
Mrs. Hopple is survived by a her son, Robert N. Hopple and wife Mary of Camarillo, CA and her daughter, Bonnie A. Dingman and husband Ray of Pinehurst, North Carolina. She has two grandchildren; Kyle Hopple and wife Celine and Rebecca Hopple-Cuellar and husband Nathan, two great grandchildren, Kendall and Sienna Cuellar. She was predeceased in death by her one sister, Mildred “Sis” Brango, and two brothers, Charles A. “Art” Faddis and Walter “Boob” Faddis.
Her funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at 10:00 AM at Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc., Main St. at Fifth Avenue, Phoenixville, PA. Officiating will be Rev.
