Thelma Ruth (Radcliffe) Buckwalter, 80, wife of W. Robert Buckwalter, of Spring City, passed? away on Thursday, October 9, 2008, in the Pottstown Memorial Medical Center.? Born in Bethlehem, PA, she was a daughter of the late E. Paul and Beatrice (Shopf) Radcliffe.?
Mrs. Buckwalter attended Lower Pottsgrove Elementary School and was a 1945 graduate of Pottstown High School.? She was a member of the Valley Forge Baptist Temple, and taught Bible Clubs for children for many years and worked with Mailbox Bible Clubs.? She was a faithful prayer warrior and carried on correspondence with missionaries and shut-ins

In addition to her loving husband of 60 years, Mrs. Buckwalter is survived by daughters Bonnie K., wife of Roger Krout, of Boyertown, Marsha L. wife of Frank Spacek, of Gilbertsville, and Beverly S., wife of Donald Daddario, of Gilbertsville, sister Jean (Radcliffe), wife of William Norton, of West Virginia, nine grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.? She was preceded in death by her son, Philip K. Buckwalter, husband of Carol Buckwalter, of Boyertown. ?
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service at the Valley Forge Baptist Temple, Route 113 and Blackrock Road, Collegeville, PA, on Wednesday, October 15, 2008, at 11 AM.? Officiating will be Pastor Scott Wendal.? Interment will follow in the Parker Ford Baptist Church Cemetery.? Friends may call from 9-11 AM at the Church.?
