Thelma (Barlow) Swenson, 91, passed away on Friday at Tel Hai Retirement Community in Honey Brook. She was the wife of the late Elmer Swenson, with whom she shared 69 years of marriage. She was born in Limerick to the late William and Susanna (Major) Barlow.

Mrs. Swenson was a member of Brownback’s United Church of Christ.

She is survived by her two daughters, Linda Butz, wife of Wayne of Strafford, and Jane Dunlap, wife of Tom of Honey Brook; four grandchildren, Stacey Metz, wife of Ryan of Chester Springs, Lindsay Dunlap of Washington, D.C., Alex Butz of Hoboken, New Jersey, and Bradley Dunlap, husband of Amber of Denver, Colorado. She is also survived by her twin great-grandchildren, Amelia and Jeremy Metz.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 5, 2014 at Brownback’s Cemetery at 10 a.m. Officiating will be Rev. Raymond Jachowski. Online condolences may be offered at www.royersfordfuneralhome.com. Arrangements are by Cattermole-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Royersford.
