Theodore F. Moore, Jr., lovingly known as Ted or Butch, 78, of Phoenixville passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 22, 2021, at Seasons Hospice with his wife by his side. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Theodore F. Moore, Sr. and Mary Moore. He was the loving husband of Denise (Kurey) Moore.
Ted honorably served his country in the United States Army. Theodore earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from LaSalle University and went on to work in the financial department of Acme Markets for many years, before retiring in 2001. Following his retirement, Ted spent his new found free time relaxing. He loved animals and would often sit and watch the birds and wildlife in the backyard. Ted will be remembered as a simple man who loved his family more than anything else.
In addition to his wife Denise (Kurey) Moore, he is survived by three children; Melissa Eichenberger, of Conshohocken, Jennifer Moore, and Theodore F. Moore III, of Phoenixville, two sisters; Patricia Moore-Boyd, and Peggy Karoyli, two grandsons; Connor and his second grandson whose arrival he was eagerly awaiting. Ted is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, and a daughter, Maryrose Moore.
A celebration of Theodore's life will be held at the convenience of the family and announced at a later date. In lieu of flower’s memorial contributions may be made in Theodore’s name to the Dementia Society of America, PO Box 600, Doylestown, PA 18901.
