Theresa M. "Dolly" (DiMarco) Salamone, age 87, of Birdsboro, Pennsylvania, passed away on Saturday, April 18, 2026, in the Berks Heim Nursing and Rehabilitation, Leesport. Born on February 4, 1939, in Coatesville, she was a daughter of the late Theresa (Morrone) and Alex DiMarco.
Dolly was a Class of 1957 graduate of Scott High School in Coatesville, where she was a proud member of the Meistersingers. Over the years, she had various clerical positions and had been co-owner along with her husband, of Morgantown Sporting Goods from 1973 - 1982.
Dolly has been a long-time member of Our Lady of the Rosary in Coatesville, where she sang in the church choir and served as the soloist for many weddings and funerals. She enjoyed singing, dancing, cooking, baking, reading, watching movies, crocheting, and sewing.
Most importantly, Dolly was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will be remembered for sending birthday cards to everyone. All of her family, friends, and extended family thought it was amazing how she always remembered everyone's birthday.
Dolly is survived by two children: Jane, wife of Paul W. McEwen, Jr. and Ronald E. Salamone Jr.; grandchildren: Shane, Brandon, Ryan, Heather, Kari, Paul, Kristine, Cole, and Megan; and nineteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son: Edwin J. Elliott III, husband of Lisa Elliott; and siblings: Elvira Casenta, Mary Scamuffa, Virginia Formica, Alexander DiMarco, William DiMarco, and George DiMarco.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her memorial service on Monday, April 27, 2026, at 10:30 AM, at the Cattermole-Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford. Officiating will be the Deacon George Harmansky. Friends will be received from 9:30 AM-10:30 AM at the funeral home.
