Theresa Marie Ross, of Phoenixville, died on Thursday at Phoenixville Hospital after a lengthy illness.? She was 81.?
Theresa was born on November 11, 1926 to the late Ralph and Sarah (Quinn) DeNendo.? After graduation from West Conshohocken High School, she worked in sales for Wanamakers, Jamesway, Gateway Pharmacy and Tarrytown Hardware respectively.? She also was employed in the cafeteria of Upper Merion High School.? In retirement she served as a Foster Grandparent at the daycare of the Phoenixville YMCA.?
She is survived by a son, David Ross, of Phoenixville; daughter, Doreen Hindo and her husband Michael, of Royersford;?sister, Dolores Frattone, widow of George, of King of Prussia and brother, Ralph DeNendo Jr. and his wife Ethel, of West Conshohocken.?
Her funeral mass will be held on Tuesday at 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Church, 148?Church Street, Phoenixville, PA.? Officiating will be Rev. Michael W. Rzonca.? Burial will be private.? Visitation will be held on Monday evening from 7:00 to 8:30 PM and Tuesday from 8:45 to 9:30 AM at Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc., 610 S. Main Street, Phoenixville, PA.?
