Thomas John Estes, age 69, husband of Beverly Estes of Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, passed away on Monday, February 20, 2023 in the Phoenixville Hospital. Born on September 13, 1953, in Bad Kreuznach, Germany, he was a son of the late Mary (Hofmeister) and Thomas Patrick Estes.
Tom lived most of his life in Phoenixville. He graduated from Phoenixville High School and Northern Chester County Technical School where he studied computer science technology. He also attended Temple University. He worked many years for the West Company and played on their softball team while there. He specialized in manufacturing systems and retired in 2018 as a Business Analyst from K. C. Data Services, which operated USA 3000 Airlines and Apple Vacations.
At home, he enjoyed doing projects and woodworking. He loved being outside, listening to music and having barbeques and beer fests and spending time with friends, relatives and the family dogs.
He was also a long time member of Coventryville United Methodist Church, where he was instrumental in fabricating the Christmas candlelight service sconces.
In addition to his loving wife, Thomas is survived by his daughters: Natalie J., wife of AJ Zeltner, Lindsay D. Estes and Stephanie A. Estes; grandchildren: Evelyn Estes, Aislin Kimbro, Kevin Kimbro and Henry Zeltner; and brother: Russell P., wife Patricia Estes. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son: Zachary J. Estes; and brother: William P. Estes.
