Thomas J. Greenwald, age 69, of Taneytown, MD and formerly of Royersford, died on Tuesday at Kernan Hospital, Baltimore, MD.? He was the husband of Geraldine A.? (Nichols) Greenwald.
Born in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late Thomas W. and Catherine M. (Mason) Greenwald. ?He was a 1956 graduate of West Catholic High School.? He was also an Army veteran.?
Mr. Greenwald was employed in sales and marketing for PECO Energy in the Philadelphia, Warminster, and Coatesville regions.? He retired in 1990 with over thirty five years of service.?
While in Royersford, they were members of Sacred Heart Church, Royersford.? Recently, they had been attending St. John's R.C.C., Westminster, MD.?
In addition to his wife of 40 years, he is survived by daughters: Kristin Clark, Debbie Greenwald and AnnMarie Reid, sons; Thomas, Matthew, Kevin, Daniel and David, sister; Kate Becker, brothers; Edward Foehl and Joseph Greenwald and six grandchildren.? He was also preceded in death by brothers; John Foehl and Andrew Greenwald.?
His Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday at 10 AM at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church, Lewis Road and Walnut Street, Royersford, PA.? Rev. Timothy M. Judge will be Celebrant.?
