Thomas P. Hiland, age 65, of Parker Ford, Pennsylvania, passed away on Sunday, October 2, 2022 in ProMedica, Pottstown. Born on October 9, 1956 in Pottstown, he was a son of the late Iona Jean (Roberts) and John Robert Hiland.

A Class of 1974 graduate of Owen J. Roberts High School, Tom had been employed by MacKissic Inc., in Parker Ford, from just after his high school graduation until his retirement. Although he had pollen allergies, Tom always made sure his lawn and meadow were mowed and loved to cut firewood.

A staunch Patriot, Tom was proud of the American Flag and always displayed a flag down at the creek. He also enjoyed the holidays, especially St. Patrick's Day and Halloween. He loved to throw picnics, however they had to be on the actual day of the holiday. Tom also had a great love for his dogs, Kelly and Sassy.

Tom is survived by two siblings: Timothy Hiland, of Pottstown and Coleen, wife of Donald Schaeffer, of East Coventry; brother-in-law: Joel McMillan, of Pottstown; nine nieces and nephews; and many great nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister: Tami McMillan.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service, on Friday, October 7, 2022, at 11:00 am at the Cattermole-Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington Street, Royersford. Officiating will be the Pastor Cindy McKinley. Interment will follow in the Parker Ford Baptist Church Cemetery. Friends will be received from 10:00 - 11:00 am at the funeral home.
