Thomas George Isanski, age 64, husband of Laurey Rae (Taylor) Isanski of Hudson, New Hampshire, passed away on Tuesday, September 5, 2023 at home as that was what he wanted. Born in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, he was a son of the late Margaret Jane (Schuck) and Thomas Anthony Isanski.
Thom was a Class of 1977 graduate of Phoenixville High School and had been employed as a machine operator before becoming disabled.
Thom loved his Bruschi, his Yorkshire terrier whose death Thom never got over. He had other yorkies prior to Bruschi. Kuhljo, Monty, Yankee Doodle and Bruschi were all there to meet him when he passed.
Thom enjoyed gardening and bike riding and had an interest in world news and politics.
Thom was affiliated with the National Alliance for the Mentally Ill. He had an unshakable sense of what is "right and wrong". He always championed for fair treatment for everyone. Thom lived with and suffered from bi-polar disease, and it affected every aspect of his life. He fought everyday to be treated fairly, to not be discriminated against, and to be accepted for who he was.
In addition to his loving wife, Thom is survived by his step-children: Steven Ray Estel and Amy Lynne Estel Cons; grandchildren: Audra Estel, Juliet Cons, and Annalise Estel; siblings: David, Paul, and Stephen Isanski, Barbara Isanski, and Lynne Casmay; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He was preceded in death by brothers: Matthew and Mark Isanski, and his nephew Brian Isanski.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his graveside service on Saturday, May 4, 2024 at 11:00 am at the St. Ann Cemetery, 305 W. Pothouse Road, Phoenixville,
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Thom's name to a local homeless shelter or soup kitchen of choice.
