Thomas J. Smith, 48, of Oaks died Wednesday, August 4, 2010 at Phoenixville Hospital. He was born in Phoenixville to Claudia (Brady) Smith and the late William H. Smith, Sr.

He graduated in 1980 from Spring-Ford High School and attended Western Montgomery County Vocational and Technical School for Auto Body.

Mr. Smith loved to spend time with his family, loved playing horseshoes with friends at the local bar (Perky Cafe)

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his two brothers, William W. Smith Jr. and wife MaryAnn (Gilbertsville), Terry L. Smith (Pottstown), also three sisters: Robin M. Shaner and husband J. Richard Shaner Jr. (Spring City), Sharon L. Holleran (Spring City) and Kelly S. Roth and husband JB (Audubon), 17 nieces and 2 great-nieces and nephews.

Services are Friday, August 6, 2010 at Philadelphia Memorial Park, Phoenixville Pike, Frazer, PA at 11 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Seasons Hospice, 700 S. Henderson Rd, Suite 225, King of Prussia, PA 19406.
