Thomas B. Nesspor, age 76, husband of Susan J. (Budd) Nesspor of Oaks, Pennsylvania, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, February 28, 2024. Born on August 20, 1947 in Phoenixville, he was a son of the late Catherine (Bossert) and Alexander Nesspor.

A 1965 graduate of Spring-Ford High School, Tom received his bachelor's degree in business from Elizabethtown College. He honorably served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Tom would later be employed as an Accountant/CFO/CEO for Aegon and Career Concepts. As some might say, he was a "workaholic" and showed his strong work ethic as he was always the first one into the office building to put the lights on.

Tom attended Trinity Lighthouse Church, Limerick, and Windsor Baptist Church, Downingtown. At Windsor he served for 25 years with his wife in the 2's and 3's Sunday School Class. He also served on the board of Chester County Christian Endeavor and was a former member of the Upper Uwchlan Zoning hearing Board. He enjoyed keeping his cars pristine, and at one time, was a member of the American Dream Corvette Club.

Tom was a very dependable person. If he was given a time to be somewhere and he didn't show, something was wrong. He enjoyed walking, fishing, traveling, and spending time in nature. He loved dogs and often neighbors would stop in front of his home to wait for him to come outside to pet their dogs.

Although he was always receiving compliments on his full head of white hair, what defined Tom was that he was a wonderful husband of 55 years to his high school sweetheart and a loving father and PopPop who was always willing to do anything for his family. He was someone who could offer great support. He had the honor of serving as his son's best man and, along with his wife, would never hesitate to babysit or help with his grandchildren. Tom was willing to step up and accept the thankless jobs such as painting the outfield poles at a little league field or painting other family member's homes. Most importantly, Tom loved spending time with his family and attending his grandchildren's sporting events.

Tom stayed active until recently by helping to renovate a house in Phoenixville from top to bottom for his granddaughter. In addition to helping provide a home for his oldest grandchild, it enabled him to spend a lot of time with his son and granddaughter.

In addition to his loving wife, Tom is survived by his children: Thomas C. Nesspor and his wife Rochelle and Lisa J. Fitzmier and her husband Stephen; grandchildren Kaitlyn, Ryan, and Ella Nesspor and Caleb, Joshua, Micah, and Addison Fitzmier; and brother Jim Nesspor. He was preceded in death by a grandson Thomas Anthony Nesspor and brothers Richard Dougherty and Norman Bossert.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life for Tom on Saturday, March 30, 2024, at 11:00 am at Trinity Lighthouse Church, 66 S. Limerick Road, Royersford. Officiating will be the Rev. Wayne Houck. Friends will be received from 10:00 am to 11:00am at the church.

Memorial contributions may be made in Tom's name to West-Mont Christian Academy, 873 S. Hanover Street, Pottstown, PA 19464.
