Thomas J. Putz Jr., age 73, of Coatesville, PA passed away on Monday, October 7, 2024 in the Chester County Hospital, West Chester, PA. Born on June 4, 1951 in Phoenixville, PA, he was a son of the late Thomas and Helen (Yanchocik) Putz.

Tom attended Holy Trinity Catholic grade school, followed by the special education program at the Phoenixville public schools. He worked at Handicrafters in Phoenixville and Thorndale, and later worked until his retirement at Brian's House, Inc.

Tom loved old movies, toy trains, and robots. Tom enjoyed going to Dorney Park and Hershey Park with family and Brian's House staff.

Tom is survived by his sister, Leslie, wife of Scott Beavers; one niece, Tara Beavers, wife of Shaun Abel; sister-in-law, Betsy Putz; several cousins; and his roommates, friends, and staff at Prout Drive. In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by his brother, Stephan M. Putz.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his memorial service at the Campbell-Ennis-Klotzbach Funeral Home, Inc., 610 Main Street, Phoenixville, PA 19460 on Friday, October 18, 2024 at 11:00 am. Burial will follow in the Holy Trinity Catholic Church Cemetery. Friends will be received form 10:00 am - 11:00 am at the funeral home.
