Thomas A. Rutledge, Jr. 75, husband of Martha M. (Maberry) Rutledge, of Boyertown, formerly New Oxford, Pennsylvania, passed away on Tuesday, March 31, 2020 in Reading Hospital. Born on August 29, 1944 in Baltimore, Maryland, he was the son of the late Dorothy (Hopkins) and Thomas A. Rutledge, Sr.

Thomas was a long time chef and loved to cook. Along with his wife, they owned Chubby's BBQ in York, PA for 35 years. He also enjoyed watching television.

In addition to his loving wife, Mr. Rutledge is survived by his children: Susan E., wife of Gregg Landry, of Baltimore, MD, Thomas A., III, husband of Christie Rutledge, of Hanover, PA and Courtney, wife of Robert Palko, of Boyertown, PA; eight grandchildren: Mitchell, Max, August, Quinn, Sophia, Bristol, Clementine and Sullivan; and sister: Bonnie, wife of Carter Dowlin, of Millville, DE.

Funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
